Wrexham! North Wales! An early morning and a 3 hour trip up from Cardiff brought me here…on a windy day, oh did I mention it was windy? I think I did, anyway it was an extremely windy day so to my relief my area for the day was inside a nice warm sports hall! Here I was sent class after class after class non stop for 2 hours of full on football freestyle workshops followed by lunch and followed by another full on 2 hours of workshops. When it comes to the freestyle workshops it doesn’t surprise me at all that a lot of the girls are just as good if not better than most boys at learning the football skills, they definitely have a better attention span and look for tips and try extremely hard to pull of the skills!
At the end of the day I was outside in the cold wind to put on a footballing display…which was exactly what I needed after spending all day inside in a warm sports hall!
