Ash will be working on a new project called ‘Unlocking Hidden Talent’ with Fixers.
Fixers is a movement of young people tackling issues they feel strongly about to make a difference to others.
‘Fixers’ are young people who want to change things for the better. Many have been through difficult times, and have used that experience to campaign on issues that matter to them, like being homeless, domestic abuse, or drink and drug misuse.
As part of their campaigns, and working with professional producers, they are creating some fantastic films, songs, music videos and other resources. Several have won awards.
Working along side Fixers creative team Ash come up with the idea of trying to unlock hidden talents with in young people by creating a video sexplaing that they can do it – From Ash’s own experience all it took was one video clip to catch his immagination and get him in to Football Freestyle, since seeing that video clip on Tv at the age of 16 Ash’s life changed as he found something he loved and enjoyed.
Being able to try and do the same to help inspire and motivate young people to try and unlock their hidden talents is an amazing thing and this is what Ash will strive to do through out this project!
