As an ambassador with the charity Street Football Wales, Ash was invited down to a very special event taking place in Newport. Street Football Wales were putting on their very first 11 v 11 football game seeing the East Side take on the West Side. During half time Ash put on a demonstration of his skills to all the players, coaches and fans.
Unknowingly to one of the Coaches/players Paul Scarfi, he had been nominated by Street Football Wales staff to receive the BBC Sport Unsung Hero Award – while being distracted by Ash’s freestyle performance the BBC cameras sneaked in behind and surprised Paul with the news!
